There is much to be thankful for this year. We say it with every meal prayer “Thank-you O Lord for these Thy gifts that we are about to receive through Your bounty…” I try not to make it routine and just a thoughtless recitation of words and instead mean it as I say it.
You’re so right! The routine dulls our response; this time of the year somehow we have a million reminders to be grateful, bit more than any other year, this time round I’m staring at Gods mercies like never before
